Houdini Re-provisioning for the Mobile Operator Enterprise

The Enterprise version of the application is marketed to Mobile Operators (MOs). Houdinisoft is an enterprise software application that re-provisions PRL/PRI settings on (COAM- customer owned and maintained) CDMA handsets at the point of sale. The application is integrated to a mobile operator (MO) via a secure ASP with redundant back up. The application is ported through the MO’s provisioning system for secure delivery and operation at the point of sale (POS) for direct and indirect channels of distribution. The integration to the provisioning system is done through a custom development effort with Houdinisoft software engineers and the MO’s IT/engineers. Once the integration of the interface is complete the application can be ported to a PC at the POS which requires high speed internet access and a universal CDMA cable kit (supplied by Houdinisoft). The POS interface is GUI which provides a point and click environment for the user (sales associate) to operate the application. The typical time to re-provision a handset is less than 5 minutes while the consumer waits.

The application was developed in a carrier setting to meet the enterprise needs of MOs. The application was developed to detect if handsets are regulatory compliant for e-911. RF testing and market specific PRL loading ensure phones have great RF reception and will operate properly on the new network. A robust real time reporting system was developed with parent child hierarchy for security. The reporting system can be customized to include an enterprise view, market view, & user view with multiple levels of accountability. Speed, volume, ease of use, safety, quality control, and enterprise features are what separates Houdinisoft from any other re-provisioning application in the industry. Houdinisoft has successfully been in commercial use by many MOs & independent dealers since August of 2007.
